1992 Cannondale R600

This 1992 Cannondale most resembles the 1995 Cannondale R800 from the color scheme, down to the listed components (click here for catalog) It appears the original owner upgraded the bike to first generation Shimano 105 STI shifters, Shimano 600 front derailleur, Shimano 600 hubs and an 8 speed Ultegra rear derailleur to shift through the 8 speed rear cassette. The rims are Mavic. (click here for the 1992 cannondale Catalog) In typical aluminum Cannondale fashion, the ride is plush and comfortable. It is recommended to maintain these older integrated shifters lubricated with a very light oil or even something close to carburetor cleaner to prevent the factory grease from seizing the mechanism.
