Montgomery Ward A A U Estate

A 1970's Montgomery Ward Amateur Athletic Union Estate Bicycle.
These were sold through the now defunct Montgomery Ward Department stores. Built in Austria
The bicycle was equipped with an aluminum Shimano 3 speed hub
Lugged steel Frame with a one piece crank, 26x1-3/4 Wheels
The decals were a sort of plastic that resembles wood very well.
I acquired it in decent shape for it's age, everything turned and shifted smooth; much better than the steel Sturmey Archer 3 speed hubs found on many Schwinn's of the period.
