1995 Trek 470

Bicycle appears to be completely original except for the san marco ponza saddle I had laying around. Frame is made in taiwan but is very well built chromoly. The components are all Shimano RSX. For more specifics click here . The RSX shifters like many old STI shifters fail to shift after time. The grease inside the mechanism becomes thick and impedes certain cams, levers and springs to actuate; specially on the left lever. A quick fix is to use a can of carburetor cleaner and spray the mechanism. The liquid and force of the spray will loosen up the old grease and the shifter should begin to function once again after some movement.
