1992 Trek 2300

This bike appeared completely original when I acquired it, down to the tires, save for perhaps the saddle. Trek Carbon main tubes bonded to aluminum lugs and rear triangle. Matrix 700c wheels. Full Shimano 600 tri color 8 speed sti group (crankset, shifting components brakes, hubs). Vantage headset. Torelli Stem, modolo handlebars, Time pedals. 50cm Frame with internally routed rear brake cable. I considered keeping this bike as it was my size and came with a good older sti group set, but the old carbon frame had too much flex and I figured the frame would not be safe in the long run for commuting. Some of the clear coat was already bubbling.
