1988 Univega Vivatech 1050

Univega Vivatech 1050, Handle bar Sakae CT, head set Tange, Shimano Exage Sport hubs with 700c Araya Super Hard Anodized rims. Shimano 105 group, shifters, bottom bracket, brakes. Sakae seat post.
The main tubes are Aluminum bonded to steel lugs. The fork, and rear triangle (seat stays and chain stays are chromoly steel).

According to several friends with modern high end road bikes, the bike handles and rides great for an older road bike. They considered it comparable to their bikes with the exception of it lacking STI shifters.
